We are thrilled to announce an exciting new collaboration between the Maimonidész School in Budapest and Tamim Academy in the United States. Through this partnership, our students will benefit from a high-quality, professionally developed Judaic and English curriculum that reflects Tamim’s innovative and child-centered approach to education.
The Maimonidész School, established nine years ago, began as a bilingual high school for Jewish students in Budapest. Last year, we expanded to include a new elementary division, starting with our first grade. In the upcoming school year, we are proud to continue this growth by offering both first and second grade classes.
As part of our elementary program, students receive a comprehensive Hungarian curriculum in accordance with national educational standards. In addition, we offer a trilingual track that includes English, Hebrew, and Judaic studies. Beginning this year, the English, Hebrew, and Judaic studies curriculum will be aligned with the international standards of the Tamim network of schools.
Our local branch within the Maimonidesz school will be known as Tamim International of Budapest, joining a growing network of Tamim schools committed to nurturing academic excellence, Jewish identity, and holistic development. All elementary students enrolled in the Maimonidész School will automatically be part of the Tamim International of Budapest program.
Through this exciting collaboration, our students will gain strong foundations in Hebrew and English literacy, as well as a deep and meaningful connection to Judaism. We look forward to this new chapter and to the many opportunities this partnership will bring to our school community.
